Leonardo Hotel Derby

I did not stay at this place but it is a great place to meet friends for a drink. Nice big lounge at the bar where theh serve some nice coffees and drinks. The seats are comfortable and the olace is quiet and spotless. Ideal for a business chat or even a coffee with friends in a quiet atmosphere. Good coffee too (but no alternative milk).

Lovely hotel with friendly staff. Beds are a bit soft for my liking but room was great and clean. Breakfast was lovely. Great quality food and a good variety. There is parking below the hotel but if you're not early, you will need to find somewhere else to park. Dinner was a bit of a miss because some chicken thighs and salad set me back £20 and it was just average. I recommend eating out for dinner.

Not a bad hotel. Breakfast 16 pounds. You can not drive up to the entrance door which is difficult for the elderly or disabled. Great location to town. Not much else to say. Bed was uncomfortable. Staff is great.

This is a fantastic hotel! The rooms are spotless and the staff are so accommodating and friendly. The food is amazing, it is vey evident that all the staff and kitchen really care about your stay. Highly recommend to all!

We had such a wonderful stay! Merrick was absolutely incredible. She arranged a late check-out (a true lifesaver after a wedding celebration!), gave us great advice on parking and taxis, and even shared tips about Derby so we could make the most of our time. She really went above and beyond to make sure us two fellow Scots felt at home. The rest of the team were also fantastic. So friendly, approachable, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The hotel itself is in a brilliant location, within walking distance of lots of pubs, shops, and the city centre. The rooms were spacious, well-equipped, and had everything we needed. The beds were super comfy and the shower pressure was perfect! I would not hesitate to stay here again and would absolutely recommend it to friends. Merrick is a true gem and an excellent credit to the Leonardo team.

My room was comfortable. My son had a problem checking in, they couldn't find his reservation, booked 6 months earlier, but did eventually. Then he had no fone in his room thus unable to order any of the 24hr food. Wasn't believed nor was given one during our 4night stay. But a compromise was reached. Breakfast wasn't included and was a bit pricey, and increased for the weekend. The staff worked their best but not all of them were up to scratch on what they were ment to be doing. If they were new I would expect them to be mentored a bit more, not left on their own, giving out wrong/ conflicting information.

Nice hotel. Food was good and the staff very pleasant. The only draw back is that there is no onsite parking but there is a secure multi-story carpark a couple of minutes walk away which is subsidised by the hotel. Would stay again though.
